It's a child's dream come true - a snow day! Even adults can appreciate the sentiment behind one of life's most guiltiest pleasures. Heck, maybe adults should take snow days themselves!

Here are seven things we love about snow days:

1. Back-To-School Sleep!

There's nothing like waking up to see 'CLOSED' next to your school's name on your local news station. The feeling of being able to get back under your cozy covers is priceless.

2. Extra! Extra!

Thank the snow lords for giving you another day to finish that homework you fell asleep doing or to study for that test you weren't prepared for.

3. Child's Play

Sledding, snowball fights, snow tubing - all are fun no matter what age you are! Make a day of it with friends or use the snow day as an opportunity for a fun date (and an excuse for snuggling).

4. Bumming Around

Do nothing all day! Stay in your pajamas, sip hot chocolate, and watch T.V. Repeat as needed.

5. Taking It All In

Admire the beauty of snow-covered trees and wintry scenes. Take your camera around town and start shooting!

6. Movie Madness

Have a movie marathon. It's the perfect time for a Lord Of The Rings or Star Wars marathon. When else are you going to have 9-12 hours of free time?

7. Jam Session

Round up some friends and play music all day. Write your own tunes, or just play songs that everyone knows. Don't have friends that play? Have a Rock Band tournament instead!
