An injured paparazzo is suing David Beckham after finding himself at the wrong end of an alleged celebrity beat down. Emicles Da Mata has filed suit in Los Angeles, claiming the soccer star and his bodyguard attacked him in December.

Da Mata has accused Beckham of reaching into his car, grabbing his camera and attempting to wrestle it from him. The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ.com, also claims Beckham's bodyguard then beat him repeatedly before throwing the camera into a nearby rubbish bin. Da Mata is suing for assault and battery, as well as emotional distress.
