New mom Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is heading back to work - after reportedly signing on to guest star with her rocker husband Pete Wentz in TV series Crime Scene Investigation: New York.

The couple, who welcomed new baby boy Bronx Mowgli in November, have reportedly landed parts in an upcoming installment of the hit crime show.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the two will play "Bonnie and Clyde wannabees" in an episode scheduled for March 18th.

A spokesperson for the show declined to comment.
