One Tree HillLast night's "One Tree Hill" may not have been the second installment of serial killer drama, but it did feature candid moments at their finest. The second episode of the New Year drew upon three exciting confessions from three very different people. Peyton reveals her pregnancy to her best friend, Julian confesses his feelings and Millie faces the consequences because of her drunk actions.

Here's a complete breakdown of last night's episode:

8p.m.
A quick recap of last week's episode flashes before our eyes. A mini-thriller that evolved into a happy ending summarizes what went on last Monday. See last week's review for further details.

The new episode opens up to Sam leaving her friend Jack a concerned voicemail. He's been MIA since last week's showdown and has yet to contact Sam.

8:01p.m.
Julian stops by Brooke's house to display the hottest story on the tabloid rack. The magazine depicts her as a hot clothing designer that tracked down a serial killer. She brushes it off like it's nothing. Sam gets excited about Julian and Brooke's potential date night but Brooke claims it's simply work-related. According to Sam, "his junk has a date with your lady business." That calls for a full name drop: Samantha!

8:02p.m.
Cut to a scene with Peyton looking to be nine months pregnant. Never mind, it's just a basketball. She confesses to Lucas of her "redneck" concerns about being pregnant at her wedding. Sorry Lucas. I have to agree with Peyton on this one. Maybe the wedding can be pushed to an earlier date so she can wear that hot wedding dress made by Brooke .. see 8:03p.m.

Questions arise. After Brooke's baby journey, could Brooke resent Peyton for being pregnant? Would Peyton be upset about Julian and Brooke's "date"? No drama here. Brooke tears up as she reveals the second version of Peyton's wedding dress has a sexy corset piece. Sorry Mama Peyton, you won't be fitting in that during your wedding! Bright side? We can remain confident that Brooke will figure out something absolutely amazing and gorgeous for Peyton's big day.

8:05 p.m.
Millie confronts Mouth again. Mouth reveals that he's disappointed in himself for driving her away and even more disappointed in her follow-up actions. Millie points out that her virginity was hers and never Mouth's but her former boyfriend wants nothing to do with her. He's packed up all of her belongings and Millie heads for the door.

8:08p.m.
Mia has a good start to a new song, but her lack of inspiration is still evident. Where is Chase when you need him? Spoke too soon. In walks the former "Laguna Beach" starlet. His nervous behavior actually wins me over. I wonder if it's because of his pricy acting classes.
Chase invites Mia out on a date and announces she wants him behind the comfort of sound-proof glass (or so he thinks!)

8:10p.m.
Brooke brings her Baby Brooke clothing line back out in celebration of Peyton's bun in the oven. Too bad the line doesn't really exist! There are some pretty cute selections!
Sam and Peyton confront Julian at the café, gossiping about the impending "date." Julian labels Peyton as jealous, but Sam breaks the baby news shocking Julian beyond repair. Apparently, the news was "hard to hear based on historical reasons." Curious minds want to know what went down during their once strong romance.

Brooke and Millie meet in an awkward confrontation as Millie confesses her dark secret: she slept with Owen. Brooke's immediate reaction is to kick out Millie, but before her former assistant leaves, she embraces her in a reassuring hug.

8:18p.m.
Mia freaks out about her upcoming date and begs Haley to help her choose an outfit that works since she is ironless.

8:19p.m.
DOUBLE DATE! Sweet Haley offers to take some of the pressure off Mia and suggests a double date. Late on, she goes over to Lucas' house and tricks him into telling him about his impending fatherhood role. In favor, Lucas and Peyton agree to baby-sit Jaime and Andre for the night.

8:21p.m.
Brooke pays Mouth a well-deserved visit as he continues to play darts with Owen's picture in the center of the bulls-eye. No amount of explaining brings Mouth out of his depression and utter disappointment.

8:23p.m.
Peyton and Lucas reveal movies, arts and crafts and MOUSE TRAP for the boys! (Seriously, that game brings back such nostalgic memories!) All of these exciting activities go to waste as the boys whip up a rowdy game of cards. Scratch Disney World, Las Vegas very well might be Jamie's next family vacation spot! (Think about it, "One Tree Hill" in Vegas…could make for a very interesting episode).

One Tree Hill8:25p.m.
Mia walks into Tric (do they ever go anywhere else in Tree Hill?) wearing a sexy black dress that takes Chase's breath away.

8:28p.m.
Jamie stuns Lucas by winning the game and confiscates his watch. Poor Lucas!

8:29p.m.
Mia and Haley sign up for karaoke. Combining both of their talents and musical style should prove for a very interesting tune!

8:30p.m.
Brooke prepares for her … date. Apparently wine says "do me." She chooses hard liquor instead. Julian comes prepared to work with his hands full, but also manages to sneak over a bottle of wine. Perfect. Connection number one.

8:31p.m.
Sam eventually finds Jack who reveals Child Services is looking or him. It's ironic how the tables have turned. Not too long ago, Jack was saving Sam from the loss of family and now she's saving him.

8:32p.m.
Scratch that good song! Haley and Mia actually signed up Nathan and Chase to sing karaoke. Both refuse but end up putting on a good show performing "Bust a Move."

8:33p.m.
Jamie and Andre also get into singing karaoke - with the same song! Might I say, the cutest dance moves ever performed by two six-year-olds.

8:39p.m.
Hide and Go Seek begins with the little boys. It's only 9:15p.m. and Lucas and Peyton are beyond exhausted. Peyton reveals her first pregnancy craving: ice cream! Lucas gladly runs out to get it, if only to spare him a few minutes of relaxation.

8:40p.m.
Millie shows back up at Mouth's but drunk as a skunk. She offers Mouth all the sex he wants if that's what he desires from her. Unfortunately, she doesn't stick around to hear much as she runs to the bathroom to vomit.

8:40p.m.
Brooke displays her clothing artwork for the characters in Lucas' movie in a professional yet relaxed atmosphere. Julian admits he read the book initially because of Peyton, but said he related to it because of Brooke. Connection number two.

8:42p.m.
Back on the park bench, Sam admits that in times of despair she would hold her own hand. Knowing he has no one else, she reaches for Jack's hand and lets him know she's there for him.

8:43p.m.
Nathan informs Chase to be careful with musicians on the road. He even brings up the former Chris Keller and says upon meeting him to "punch first" and talk later. Extra point for Nathan!

8:44p.m.
Lucas arrives back home and brings out walkie talkies and ice cream.

8:45p.m.
Brooke and Julian get comfortable on the couch and reminisce about Victoria and her evil, conniving ways. Julian relates the situation to his disappoint of a father who makes him feel like a failure everyday. Connection number three.

8:50p.m.
Yes! Who called it? Mia has her inspiration and it just so happens to be her new crush! But just a hug? Where was the knee weakening, end of the night breath-taking kiss?

8:51p.m.
Chase asks her out again, then runs and kisses her. Much better.

8:53p.m.
Julian and Brooke kiss… so much for work related business. Jack and Sam say goodbye indefinitely. The moment clearly shakes up Sam.

8:55p.m.
Lucas and Nathan have a brotherly heart-to-heart over the walkie-talkies. (Can those things really work that far?)

8:56p.m.
Nathan and Jaime say I love you over the walkie-talkies. Priceless.

8:57p.m.
Preview to next week: Sam walks in on Julian and Brooke in a full make out scene, drama breaks back out with one of the players on Nathan's team and Lucas is forced to pick a director for his movie.

Cast: Chad Michael Murray / Sophia Bush / James Lafferty / Hilarie Burton / Bethany Joy Lenz / more
