Rapper Coolio can't stop adding to his collection of lethal weapons - despite previously serving time for illegally possessing a firearm.
The Gangsta's Paradise hit-maker, currently appearing on U.K. reality show Celebrity Big Brother, has admitted to having an arsenal of 54 guns, including a machine gun, in a new video obtained by Britain's News Of The World.
In the footage, recorded in London shortly before the star joined Big Brother, he reportedly brags about building his massive collection - despite pleading guilty to a charge of being a felon in possession of a gun in 1999.
He says, "Me myself personally, I've got 54 guns - 54! During the Nineties, I had this fascination with guns. Now I've got 54 guns. It's like collecting coins. They said I couldn't have a gun around me no more. So I took all the guns and put them in different (places). I sold them to different people in my family. They are my guns, but I sold them alls to my cousins and s**t like that."
"I have a 50-caliber machine gun. Its semi automatic not fully automatic. I bought it in California. You can't even have one in California no more. So I had to sent it to my family in Arizona. We put it in a car and we drove it to Arizona and that's where that motherf***ker is."
Coolio - real name Artis Leon Ivey Jr. - was convicted and sentenced to ten days in jail and 40 hours of community service after he was arrested in California in 1998 for possessing a concealed weapon and marijuana.
He was also placed on two years' probation and claims he was banned from buying guns.
