Verne TroyerPint-sized movie star Verne Troyer was so cut up following the death of co-star Heath Ledger, he found it hard to return to the movie set they shared.

Ledger was filming The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus with Troyer prior to his death last year. And after the tiny star learnt of Ledger's untimely passing, he was wary of commencing filming again. He says, "Going on set after he died was one of the most difficult things I ever did. I had scenes with him right before he died."

And Troyer admits that although co-stars Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell all donated their fee for completing Ledger's final film role to the late star's daughter Matilda, he could not spare the cash.

He adds, "If I could have afforded it, I would have (donated) too."
