Beyonce Knowles' 'If I Were A Boy' Takes #1 In Europe

Beyonce KnowlesBeyonce Knowles has scored another number one - her ballad If I Were a Boy has reclaimed the top spot on the European singles chart in its ninth week on release.

The former Destiny's Child singer kicks off the New Year by jumping to the top spot of the European Hot 100 Singles list again, after coming in third place last week.

Pop star Katy Perry slides one spot to second place with her release Hot N Cold, while Britney Spears' Womanizer settles at third.

Guru Josh Project's Infinity 2008 scrapes into the top five, charting behind Pink's anthem So What.

Meanwhile, AC/DC remain frozen at number one in the European albums chart - Black Ice continues to prove a big hit ten weeks since it was released.

Enya trails in second with And Winter Came..., while Il Divo slips one spot to three with The Promise.
