2008 was certainly an eventful year, no thanks to these celebrities the tabloids, for some reason thought we couldn't get enough of. Whether it was in the magazines, on T.V. or on the Internet, these celebrities were virtually inescapable and terribly annoying.

Yes, she's beautiful. Yes, she's re-re releasing Good Girl Gone Bad. But with the lackluster singles she released this year, coupled with her even more lackluster live performances at high-profile events such as the VMAs, was the Rihanna obsession really necessary?
