MadonnaPop queen Madonna has reasons to be cheerful as her divorce from Guy Ritchie rumbles on - her Sticky & Sweet world tour was the highest-grossing U.S. jaunt of 2008.

The Material Girl star's series of shows in North America raked in $105.3 million, according to Pollstar magazine.

Celine Dion came second in the list, taking $94 million on her first U.S. tour since her five-year residency in Las Vegas, and The Eagles made third place with more than $73 million for their series of dates.

The top five highest-grossing tours of the U.S. in 2008 was rounded out by country singer Kenny Chesney with $72 million and Bon Jovi with $70 million.

Madonna split from her movie director husband Ritchie earlier this year. Their divorce was granted in November and is due to be rubber-stamped in the New Year.
