Holly, Bridget and Kendra are a lot of things, but authors? They are now. This week we found out that The Girls Next Door are starting to gather materials for a book they are going to create. They had to come up with all sorts of photos, style tips, favorite recipes, favorite outfits and even the worst outfits (Bridget claims the worst outfit was the full out, actual bunny costume).

While looking at Bridget's scrapbooks, Hef joined the girls and told them that he has over 2,000 scrapbooks. For a man with a life such as his, it seems right that Hef would have thousands of them. Hef and the girls went upstairs to check out all his scrapbooks and started at the beginning of his life. It is interesting to see how such an icon grew up with his homemade comics ("School Daze"), his first crush in fourth grade, his first marriage, where he started the magazine, his children, his first issue of the magazine and more.

The current Playboy Mansion was found by then-girlfriend Barbi Benton. When Hef saw the house, he said it was too small, which seems impossible. It was during his relationship with Barbi that Hef found he could not be monogamous, which forced the two to end their relationship. However, he showed the girls in a later scrapbook photos of his second marriage, which ended shortly thereafter as well.

At the end of the episode, Mary showed the girls the first sample of their book. They seemed very excited to have their own version of a scrapbook to look at and show their fans.

Next week should be interesting… Hef and the girls visit Barbi Benton's house. An episode with Barbi is always fun to watch, especially the tension between her and Holly.
