Record producer Jermaine Dupri has slammed reports he has split from longtime love Janet Jackson.

The couple has been an item for four years, and was only recently rumored to be planning to marry and start a family together. Reports this week claimed the couple had been fighting over the singer's recently stalled tour and as a result, Dupri had moved out of Jackson's Los Angeles home.

However Dupri has set the record straight with an online posting, assuring fans the couple is still together - while insisting they are not preparing for their first child.

In a message "to all the Janet fans", he writes on his blog, "No she is not pregnant and yes we're still together. It baffles me how y'all let these blog and magazines control your lifes (sic)."

Dupri explains: "So whenever (you) hear s**t about me you can come right here and get the truth. But I hear y'all and your questions. So here you have it."
