Mindy McCready Stable After 'Suicide Attempt'
A local police report said McCready's brother, Timothy, discovered the singer "very intoxicated" in her bloody bed several hours after she returned from a night out on Wednesday morning and made a bizarre call to her mother.
McCready was subsequently hospitalized at Centennial Medical Center, the facility's spokeswoman Jenny Barker has confirmed. The singer has endured a series of personal struggles in recent years.
In April, she admitted to a long-term affair with New York Yankees baseball star Roger Clemens. McCready was then arrested in June for violating her probation for prescription drug fraud.
She also checked into rehab in July, with some reports suggesting she had swallowed a lethal combination of vodka and prescription drug Ambien, used to treat insomnia.
The singer's attorney, Lee Ofman, said he did not have details about the latest incident as WENN went to press.
