Former Spice Girls star Emma Bunton is adamant she doesn't need to marry her boyfriend Jade Jones to "justify" their relationship.

The couple has been dating since 1999 and have a 12-month old son, Beau, together. However despite living with constant media speculation about an imminent wedding, Bunton insists that she doesn't plan to walk down the aisle with her long-term partner any time soon.

She tells British magazine Closer, "We've been rumored to be engaged about 20 times, but we don't need a wedding to justify our relationship. But if we ever do get married, I couldn't run off and do it in secret - my family would be so upset."

And Bunton reveals that she might even wait and have another child before eventually tying the knot with Jones. She adds, "Maybe we'll have another child before getting married. I'd love to have more children - but I'm sure two's harder."
