TV actor Eric Mabius has become a dad for the second time with wife Ivy Sherman.

The Ugly Betty star and Sherman, an interior designer, welcomed a baby boy on Monday, his spokesperson has confirmed to Usmagazine.com. Rylan Jaxon Mabius is the second son for the pair, who had now two-year-old Maxfield Elliot in June 2006.

Talking about choosing a name for the new addition, Mabius tells Usmagazine.com he and his wife wanted "to go with something French like Etinne," but feared he'd be teased, adding, "The kid will have to start taking karate in like second grade."

The couple married in January 2006.
