Soul star Toni Braxton has reportedly been hit with another major health scare just seven months after heart problems forced her to cancel a string of Las Vegas shows - the singer has had a mysterious lump removed from her breast.

Braxton discovered the lump just before her recent stint on TV show Dancing With The Stars, but waited until she was eliminated from the contest to have it removed.

TMZ.com reports it was the brush with cancer that kept her from performing in the finale of the show.

The lump was benign.
