Shania Twain has sparked reports she's dating the husband of the woman her ex is alleged to have had an affair with after the mystery man spotted escorting the singer around New York was identified as Patrick Thiebaud.

Twain split from husband Robert 'Mutt' Lang in May following his revelation that he was romancing the couple's longtime secretary Marie-Anne Thiebaud, who was the manager of their Swiss estate. And it appears the two hurt exes have formed a special friendship after Thiebaud's husband joined the country star for a trip to New York.

The pair arrived at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport on Thursday. The sighting comes just weeks after Twain made her first public performance since the split - at Nashville, Tennessee's Country Music Association Awards.
