DMXA judge has issued a warrant for the arrest of DMX after the rapper missed a scheduled court appearance.

The star - real name Earl Simmons - was scheduled to appear at an Arizona court to face charges of drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty on Friday. In addition to issuing the bench warrant, the court also ordered the rapper to post a $120,000 cash bond to avoid time in jail.

His attorney, Bradford Cohen, tells website TMZ.com that to the best of his knowledge the star is currently in rehab at an undisclosed location. The lawyer also claimed DMX had planned to show the judge documentation proving his stint in the facility.

A bench warrant was issued on the rapper in September when he missed a previous appearance at an Arizona court after being hospitalized for symptoms reportedly associated with a stroke. He later appeared for a short hearing.
