Gwyneth Paltrow has officially quit her status as a movie star, so she can devote her life to her kids.

The Shakespeare in Love Oscar winner insists she ceased to be a 'movie star' when she gave birth to her first child, Apple, in 2004, and the priorities in her life changed. Now she's content to make just one film per year, and spend as much time as possible with husband Chris Martin, Apple, and two-year-old son Moses.

Paltrow says, "I haven't starred in a film since my kids were born, and I don't think I will. I'll never get these days back - they're so delicious and precious, and hilarious, I don't want to miss them."
