The story of the blues in 1950s Chicago is told in Sony BMG Film's Cadillac Records, a musical drama written and directed by TV veteran Darnell Martin. The film stars Adrien Brody as Chess Records founder Leonard Chess, with Jeffrey Wright portraying R&B legend Muddy Waters, Cedric the Entertainer as Willie Dixon, Beyoncé Knowles as Etta James, and Mos Def doing his best Chuck Berry.
