It finally arrived - the episode that, according to previews, was supposed to change everything on The Girls Next Door. Perhaps it did behind the cameras, but other than the twins' arrival, I didn't see anything change between Hef and his three main squeezes (or ex-main squeezes?).
The six finalists chosen were Crystal, Dasha, Hope, Jessica and the Shannon twins (Kristina and Karissa). With the exception of Hope, all of the girls arrived at their weeklong temporary residence, the Playmate house. At first, it seemed as if all the girls were getting along… that is, until the twins showed up. As soon as they walked into the house, some girls voiced some concerns. Most notably, Holly was taken aback as they walked into the house but did not introduce themselves. Perhaps it's because everyone is already aware of the twins' relationship with Hef, but I for one had a very negative bias against them from the start.
At the end of the episode, we found out that the three finalists are Crystal, Dasha and Hope. All three brought unique styles to the test shoots, but I'm personally rooting for Crystal (I have to go with my fellow Chicagoan). Crystal's edgy shoot was much different than most of the shoots we have seen in previous episodes.
Next week, we'll find out who wins the 55th anniversary Playmate honor, and hopefully, we'll also see some actual drama.

"I look at myself in the mirror and think, 'It's all falling apart.' It's so ironic, just at the point where you feel completely OK about who you are, all the external bits start to go.
