Baseball star Alex Rodriguez has fueled speculation he's dating pop superstar Madonna - after posing for party pics with her best pal Gwyneth Paltrow.

The pair smiled for photographers at the glitzy Fontainebleu's Grand Opening Party in Miami, Florida on Friday.

The photos have sparked further speculation that the Material Girl star has embarked on a relationship with the New York Yankees third baseman following the announcement last month that the sports superstar was linked to Madonna after his ex wife Cynthia alleged he had an "affair of the heart" with the "Borderline" singer. Their divorce was finalized in September.

Earlier this month, Madonna reportedly introduced Rodriguez to her inner circle, including Gwyneth Paltrow, after reportedly telling pals he has "the heart of a poet trapped inside an insanely gorgeous body."
