50 Cent has postponed the release of his new album until early 2009, so he can pack it with extra features.
"Before I Self-Destruct" was slated to hit stores in the U.S. on 9 December - but Fiddy wants to give fans better value for their money, and will add some extras, including a DVD about the life of his late pal Jam Master Jay.
He says, "Times are hard. Everyone is trying to make the most of what they have. I want to give my fans something extra for their hard-earned dollars. They'll get a free bonus when they pick up the album."
50 Cent isn't the only rapper making fans wait - Jay-Z and Eminem have already pushed the release of their new albums back to 2009.
