Mickey RourkeActor Mickey Rourke has issued a hasty apology after he was caught on camera calling a unknown journalist a "f----t." Rourke was filmed making the obscene comment as he walked into Los Angeles' Hyde nightclub on Monday.

After he was questioned about his reported romance with his The Wrestler co-star Evan Rachel Wood, who recently split from boyfriend Marilyn Manson, Rourke said, "She's a good friend, that's it... Tell that f----t who wrote all that s--- in the paper I'd like to break his f---ing legs."

But the movie tough guy was quick to issue an apology following the incident.

He says, "I want to sincerely apologize for the derogatory word I used. It was insensitive and inappropriate of me and I am deeply sorry that I may have offended anyone."
