British pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor is four months pregnant with her second child.

The Murder on the Dancefloor hit-maker is expecting with her husband, Richard Jones, bassist with pop rockers The Feeling. The couple, who married in 2005, already have a four-year-old boy, Sonny, together.

The singer broke the news on her website: "I am due the beginning of April and naturally the Ellis-Bextor-Joneses are thrilled that Sonny will have a little brother or sister."
