Dance star Moby has hinted he'll emigrate to Canada if Republican candidate John McCain wins Tuesday's presidential election.

The Porcelain hit-maker is a fervent fan of McCain's Democrat rival Barack Obama, and has used his blog to rally support for the Illinois senator. Writing after a trip to Vancouver to DJ at the weekend, Moby has nominated the Canadian city as the destination of choice for disillusioned Democrat supporters.

He writes, "I love Canada. And if McCain wins on Tuesday, I think you might see a mass exodus of educated, progressive Americans to Canada. Or Australia. Or New Zealand. Or the U.K. Or France. Or Scandanavia. Or Germany. Or the Netherlands. Or Belgium. Or Spain. Or Japan. Or any of the other relatively sane and progressive countries on the planet."
