Kate Winslet Denies Airbrushing Photos
The Titanic star stripped off for a Catherine Deneuve-inspired shoot for Vanity Fair magazine, posing provocatively on a sofa wearing nothing but stockings, high heels and a fur throw. And Winslet's slimline figure has drawn accusations that the pictures were digitally altered to remove her famous curves.
However, a spokesman for the star is adamant that the photos are genuine - putting Winslet's new look to her healthy regime. The representative tells British newspaper The Independent, "There's been absolutely no airbrushing at all. All she has had is the standard retouching they do on any photo shoot - adjusting skin tone and so on. I know she is thrilled with the photos. She's in very good shape at the moment."
Winslet famously slammed editors at British GQ magazine in 2003 for airbrushing her figure, accusing them of making her look "six feet tall and a size two."
