Jim Carrey likes to try on women's clothes, according to his actress girlfriend Jenny McCarthy.

The 45-year-old funnyman shocked onlookers on a Californian beach earlier this year when he donned McCarthy's sexy black swimming costume during celebrations for Independence Day.

And McCarthy admits this wasn't a isolated incident: "All I can say is that he's a great, great guy who sometimes likes to dabble in women's clothing."

McCarthy also reveals that the loved-up duo aren't in a rush to walk down the aisle, adding: "We are just happy as we are."
