SlipknotRockers Slipknot have scrapped their upcoming concert in Israel - blaming "personal and family conflicts" for the cancellation.

The nine-strong band - known for their elaborate on-stage 'death-masks' - were due to play in the country's capital, Tel Aviv, on November 2nd. But now the gig has been canceled by the group "as a result of sudden personal and family conflicts", according to Blabbermouth.net. No other details about the decision were available as WENN went to press. Officials in the country are notoriously strict about granting musicians permission to play there.

Paul McCartney staged a special concert in Tel Aviv in September; four decades after the Beatles were banned from the country for being too controversial.
