Led ZeppelinLed Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones has confirmed the band will embark on a world tour with a replacement for front-man Robert Plant. Plant has rejected the opportunity to rejoin his former band mates on the road, following the group's successful reunion at a 2007 London tribute gig for late record label boss Ahmet Ertegun.

A number of potential new lead singers have been linked with the Stairway to Heaven rockers, including Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, who has reportedly rehearsed with the band.

John Paul Jones confirms he and band mates Jimmy Page and Jason Bonham are looking - but have yet to find the right man.

He tells Rolling Stone, "As soon as we know who it is, we'll let you know who it is."

And Jones has words of hope for fans of the band desperate for a full reunion, hinting Plant may change his mind "in a few years."
