Russell CroweHollywood star Russell Crowe is growing his hair extra long, so he can donate it to a charity which makes wigs for sick children. The Oscar winner has cultivated shoulder-length locks for his roles as Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham in a forthcoming epic period movie.

And, when shooting has wrapped, he will have all his hair chopped off and handed to good cause Locks of Love.

One source, who claim Crowe's hair has almost reached the charity's 10 inch minimum, states, "Russell has grown attached to the hair, but he's excited to help."
