Comedy actor Andy Dick will have to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet for a year, after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges of battery and marijuana possesson in a California court on Friday.

Dick struck a deal, ensuring charges of public intoxication and possession of painkiller Xanax without a prescription were dropped.

The accusations all stem from the 42-year-old's arrest outside a restaurant in Murrieta, California in July - after he allegedly exposed a 17-year-old girl's breasts.

When police searched the comedian, they found marijuana and Xanax.

Sexual battery charges were dropped back in August.

Speaking outside court, Dick's attorney Jeffery Rubenstein told reporters, "Andy is a great guy. We are considering this matter closed. He's looking forward to putting this matter behind him."
