George HamiltonVeteran actor George Hamilton has broken his silence about the sexual affair he had with his stepmother - when he was 12. The 69-year-old star makes the shocking revelation in his new book, "Don't Mind If I Do: A Memoir" - detailing the illicit relationship the two hid from his father, who died when the actor was a teen.

Hamilton says, "When I was very young, 12, I had a relationship with my stepmother - not of kin and not of blood. I always liked older women. She was about 28. My father never knew."

And Hamilton insists he never questioned their relationship, despite the age gap and the fact he was underage.

Remembering how the pair rekindled their affair years later, he adds: "It was a very strange thing but it was normal. She didn't make me feel bad about it... It went on for a short period of time. Then, strangely enough, when I was of age, when I was an actor in Hollywood, I met her again and we had a follow-up... It didn't feel abnormal at the age of 12 - it was called cuddling, and I cuddled."
