Guns N' RosesThe wait is over for Guns N' Roses fans— the group's long-awaited Chinese Democracy album will be released on November 23. The album will be released on that Sunday as an exclusive for electronics chain Best Buy and is expected to charge to the top of the chart released on December 1, due to eligibility deadlines.

One of the new album's tracks, "Shackler's Revenge," debuted in the video game Rock Band 2, while another tune, "If the World" will play over the end credits of the new Leonardo DiCaprio/Russell Crowe film Body of Lies.

The album release could prove costly for bosses of soda giant Dr. Pepper, who offered to send a free can of drink to everyone in America if Chinese Democracy hit stores during 2008 at the beginning of the year.

Blogger Kevin Cogill was arrested on suspicion of violating federal copyright laws by leaking tracks from the much-anticipated new album on his website Antiquiet.com in June, and the album tracks were quickly removed.

Guns N' Roses, led by Axl Rose, started working on the near-mythical album over a decade ago.
