ChicagoBosses at Miramax film studios have settled a lawsuit over the profits from hit movie Chicago - paying one of the film's producers a reported $9 million.

Marty Richards filed a suit against the company in 2006, accusing film chiefs of using deceptive accounting practices to freeze him out of the money made by the Oscar-winning picture.

But according to New York Post gossip column PageSix, the legal action has now been settled - with the Disney-owned company reportedly offering Richards the multi-million dollar payout.
