Girls Aloud 'Murder' Writer Prosecuted

Girls AloudA man who allegedly published an obscene story detailing the fictional kidnap and murder of British pop band Girls Aloud is facing prosecution.

Darryn Walker, 35, from South Shields, England is accused of posting the article on a fantasy porn website and has now been charged under the U.K.'s Obscene Publications Act.

The 12-page article, titled Girls (Scream) Aloud, is said to describe the kidnap, rape and murder of band members Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.

Walker appeared before magistrates in England last month and been granted unconditional bail. He is due in court in Newcastle, north east England, later this year.
