KimmelmanJimmy Kimmel and ex Sarah Silverman have downplayed rumors of a romantic reunion after they were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Rumors the pair had given their relationship another go spread like wildfire after they were photographed acting like a couple again on a night out in L.A. The comedienne and the late night U.S. TV host split in July after five years together.

However a representative for the pair insists their tactile actions were purely platonic. The spokesperson tells Usweekly.com, "They remain close friends."
