Newlywed Ellen DeGeneres feels "blessed" since marrying longtime girlfriend Portia De Rossi - insisting married life has made her "more in love".
The beloved TV star wed former Ally McBeal actress De Rossi last month following the legalization of gay marriages in California in May. DeGeneres recently urged people to vote against the state's Proposition 8 bill which would change the law back to make same-sex marriages illegal.
However, the star believes her nuptials have changed her for the better - even though she is struggling to remember she now has a wife. She says, "My heart just feels a little bit different, softer and somehow more in love. I don't know how. But it just feels really romantic and lovely. I keep saying 'my girlfriend,' but I have to go to 'wife'."
