Julianne Moore is waging an online battle with a mystery man who claims he was once married to her.

The Oscar nominee is baffled by a posting on the web which claims she was married to Sundar Chakravarthy from 1983-1985. And she wants the world to know she has never met the web phantom.

Twice-married Moore, 47, says, "I was in an interview, and a journalist said, 'You've been married three times.' And I said, 'No.' She said, 'It's on the internet,' so I checked it out. There's a person online who claims to have been married to me from 1983 to 1985. His name is Sundar Chakravarthy. I've never heard of him."

Moore's real husbands are John Gould Rubin, who she divorced in 1995, and her current spouse Bart Freundlich.
