Jada Pinkett Smith is set to return to TV to play a hospital nurse. The actress will star in upcoming medical drama "Time Heals." It will be her first regular TV role since she quit A Different World in 1993.

She'll play a single mom who is the director of nursing at a North Carolina hospital, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 37-year-old star will double as the new show's executive producer.
