Britney Spears is back to her snake-charming ways in the music video for her comeback song Womanizer.

Spears, who famously performed her hit I'm A Slave 4 U with an albino python at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, uses another slithering snake in the video for her new track.

The promo sees the pop superstar in dominatrix gear, brandishing a whip to overpower a topless hunk who is restricted by the huge yellow reptile.

But fans will have to wait longer than predicted to see the sexy film, after Spears' record label put the track's release date back because the song needs more work.

The tune, featured on the star's upcoming new album Circus, was slated for release earlier this week, but won't be out until at least the end of the month.
