Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has confirmed her marriage to England soccer star Ashley Cole is back on - but vows she'll never talk publicly about their relationship again.

The singer is wearing her wedding ring for the first time since the sportsman was accused of having an affair in January, and the pop star is determined to keep her private business private this time around.

She says, "I spoke openly about my marriage in the past and it's come back to hit me in the face. I learned from the past that you shouldn't do that. All the tabloids have to fill their pages. Even when we're not doing anything it just rolls on."

The whole cheating controversy has made Cole reconsider so many aspects of her life: "Lies would really get to me at one point, it really hurt, but now I just think 'Whatever'. There's something about celebrities having a perfect life... people need to relax and realize we're human too."

Meanwhile, Cole admits the decision to put her wedding ring back on did not come easily - because she was very angry with her man. She adds, "I was tempted to put it back on - in his head!"
