Actress Tara Reid has denied reports she is set to marry French businessman Julien Jarmoune after a whirlwind romance.

The American Pie star was rumored to be engaged to the fashion executive following a short courtship. However a spokesperson for the 32-year-old insists the speculation is "not true", adding: "It's just a bunch of lies and rumors."

The representative has confirmed, however, that the two are dating.
