Lil Wayne is hoping to capitalize on his successful duet with British singer Leona Lewis at this year's MTV Video Music Awards by recording a duet with the star.

The unlikely pairing stunned fans after taking to the stage together for a reworking of the rapper's track Million Dollar Man at Sunday's event in Los Angeles. And the Louisiana MC was so impressed with the Bleeding Love hit-maker; he reportedly wants to collaborate with her in the studio.

A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "He thinks she's got it and, seeings as they are both multi-platinum selling artists, working together makes sense. They are looking for time to go in the studio."
