Jerry Springer has adopted a pig that was doomed to be turned into bacon and pork chops. The TV star and talk show host fell for the porker at the Los Angeles County Fair and swooped in before she could be slaughtered.

He tells the National Enquirer, "They were going to slaughter Bella. So I bought her. She should live about 25 years, so I'm going to put her in my will."
