Project Runway host Tim Gunn has branded actress Jennifer Aniston "desperate".

The former Friends star recently split with rocker John Mayer, and has been photographed in New York and Los Angeles looking carefree. However, the style king Gunn believes Aniston is hiding behind her wardrobe.

He tells OK! Magazine, "Sometimes I think she has 'desperate character' written on her. The clothes we wear send a message. And I think that's the message - I don't think that's her intention though. She's a gorgeous woman and she understands her fashion. I can't help but think that's she's pretty high-maintenance."
