Michael JacksonMichael Jackson fans celebrated their hero's 50th birthday with a three-day party in Las Vegas.

The 72-hour Born To Entertain extravaganza in the gambling Mecca included performances from tribute artists, a production of Thriller, and a talent show. There was even an appearance by actress Tatiana Thumbtzen, who starred in the promo film for Jackson's 1987 single The Way You Make Me Feel.

The event at the Las Vegas Club Hotel & Casino was one of a series of parties being held around the world to mark the King of Pop's 50th. In the U.K., hundreds of fans are expected to gather at a nightclub in Romford, Essex, on Sunday for a huge show featuring 10 tribute acts and competitions to find the best Jackson-style singers and dancers.

And at Club Swans in Sydney, Australia, revelers will be treated to a live performance by the highly-acclaimed dance show The Jackson Experience. Everyone who attends the event on Friday will also receive a free copy of the limited edition Australian 50th Anniversary greatest hits CD and a souvenir MJ50 keyring.
