The Police have paid back Elvis Costello for supporting them on the last leg of their North American tour by taping their final performance for his upcoming TV variety show.
The trio recorded an episode of "Spectacle: Elvis Costello With..." on the eve of their final show in New York earlier this month.
During the show, the bandmates chatted about their reunion and performed a unique mash-up of The Police's "Walking On The Moon" with Costello's "Watching The Detectives."
Costello's new chat and music show will debut on The Sundance Channel later this year.
Other guests include Tony Bennett and former U.S. President Bill Clinton.
