MadonnaMadonna is reportedly seeking legal advice in a bid to stop explicit letters she sent to a former boyfriend from going on display at a memorabilia exhibition.

Organizers of the Simply Madonna exhibition are eager to make 17 letters Madonna wrote to former lover and bodyguard James Albright public property by showcasing the intimate items at the show in London next year. The letters are allegedly signed 'Spanky', in reference to the pop superstar's bedroom antics, and are sealed with a lipstick kiss, according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.

A source tells the publication, "Who'd want private sentiments to someone they loved revealed? Lawyers sent a warning. She hopes it will work." More than 300 personal items including clothes, photographs, film props, costumes and personal items belonging to the Holiday hit-maker will be showcased in Britain's capital next year.

The exhibition is due to run from February 21st until March 22nd at London's Old Truman Brewery.
