Comedian Chris Kattan has reportedly split from his wife of eight weeks, Sunshine Tutt.

The pair wed during an intimate ceremony in Yosemite Valley, California on June 28th, after a three-year courtship. Kattan, 37, and Tutt, 31, began dating in 2005 after meeting at a birthday party. The Saturday Night Live star proposed on Christmas Eve 2006 at her grandparents' home in Gainesville, Texas.

Kattan wrote on his blog just months before the proposal: "She is so kind, sweet and very beautiful. She's also very funny which always is a great thing. She's also very much like me. She makes me very happy. It feels real and honest and I have more of a continuous smile than I have ever had before."

A spokesperson for Kattan says the pair is "separated for the moment," adding they have "no plans for divorce at this time".
