star Tom Clarke pressed ahead with a concert in Los Angeles on Thursday - despite slicing off his finger during an earlier show.
Clarke injured his digit on a guitar while performing at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, Illinois last weekend.
The band was forced to cancel a follow-up appearance at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Canada.
But Clarke vowed to continue with the remainder of the tour - and defied doctor's orders by playing in L.A. on Thursday night.
He says, "I managed to slash the end off my finger playing guitar, there was f**king blood everywhere.
"The doctor looked at it after the set and said I'd have to miss a couple of gigs. I said I'd miss one but I'm not missing L.A.
"I don't really care if my finger's pissing blood - it's not the end of the world, it's an occupational hazard."
